Sirma Media, publisher of multimedia knowledge and part of Sirma Group, and the American company Intel® presented the Intel Teach program during the Seventh national conference on e-education “E-education – Real experience through innovations“. The event took place on 17.11.2011 at Sofia’s Sheration hotel under the patronage of the minister of education, youth and science prof. Sergey Ignatov, with ICT Media being the organizer. The two companies are official partners of the conference, and Adrian Cioroianu, manager “Business development” in Intel for Romania and Bulgaria, as well as Ilian Uzunov, executive director of Sirma Media, delivered a lecture on „Intel TEACH in Bulgaria – professional teachers’ qualification in support of the development of the skills of the 21st century” at 14:50. The two presented the Intel Teach program, which during the 11 years of its existence has trained 10 million teachers in more than 70 countries around the world. It’s focused on the professional development of the teachers and offers extremely interesting, visually compelling electronic courses, ensuring a more in-depth understanding of the concepts of the 21st century education. We remind that on November 9th 2011 a Memorandum of understanding was signed between Intel and the Ministry of education, youth and science for the implementation of the Intel Teach program courses into the Bulgarian educational system and for the training of more than 11 000 teachers around the country.
