The problem of the modern multimedia presentation of the cultural historical heritage of our country is extremely serious and this problem has remained unresolved for years. All the time we can hear people talking how rich our cultural heritage is, which is true, but at the same time it’s not acknowledged that we don’t have a real working system and mechanisms to present this cultural heritage by the usage of modern technologies, as well as to preserve and manage it in a modern way.

Sirma Media’s work on projects dealing with the modern presentation and preservation of cultural historical heritage began after our successful partnership with several BAS (Bulgarian Academy of Sciences) institutes, as well as with various museums in the country. An important prerequisite for the activity of the company in this direction was the ever increasing need for preservation and quality presentation of the Bulgarian cultural historical heritage, both for the purposes of research activities and the general public.

Among the projects and products that are part of this product line are: Online Encyclopedia “Ancient Thrace”, Multimedia model of the Thracian mound Mogilanska near Vratza, Digital repository of the cultural historical heritage of Sts Cyril and Methodius etc

Through the modern achievements of information technologies, the rich historical heritage of our country will be presented in a modern and adequate way and will be made known to the general public.
