Culture ambassadors

"Cultural ambassadors" is financed by the National centre for youth programs and initiatives and was held at the Bulgarian Red Cross facility in Lozen, near Sofia. "Cultural ambassadors” brought together participants from three countries – Bulgaria, Turkey and Italy with the idea to share the differences of their cultures and to create a vision of cooperation. The total number of participants was 33, of them 11 from Bulgaria.

The youth on air

The goal of the project was to create a communicant environment for the sharing of ideas on journalistic, freedom of speech, social behavior and the importance of media. The target group was the young people of two European countries – Bulgaria and Poland. Activities on the project were held in Bulgaria (Sofia, Lozen and Asenograd) for 7 days. The youths worked together on the true meaning of information and its reflection on the information society. The focus was on the subjects of morale, responsibility and freedom of speech. The cooperation created skills in teamwork, research and analysis, planning, expression and presentation. The project contributed to the development of key competences that are of major importance for the social and career development of the young people: communication in foreign languages, competences in the field of culture and creative contributions, digital competence, social and civil competences.

Teamwork, education and technologies for the development of the key competences - KeyTTT 2010

The "Centre for Creative Training” association is beneficiary on the project.

The recommendations of the European Parliament considering the key competences for lifelong learning published in 2006 sum up a notable tendency in the policy of education authorities in the whole Europe, many of them have redefined their educational goal in accordance to the competences, while increasingly focusing their curriculums on the successful implementation of knowledge and skills rather than on the conventional transfer of knowledge. This tendency imposes higher requirements on the teachers that are authorized to develop the practical skills of their students for their entire lives as well as to assist the young people to fulfill their full potential.
With the start of the European year of creativity and innovation, the KeyTTT project aims to support the teachers in this challenge by presenting a integrated solution, containing Teaching methods, a book with instructions for the teacher and a Qualification teacher course, aimed at high school teachers in Mathematics and natural sciences. The goal is to give the teachers the instruments that will help them to organize the process of education, oriented at studying as activities related to problem solving or research in action, that support and develop the creative skills of the students and their key competences such as basic competences in the field of science, mathematics and technologies, computer skills, learning skills, initiative and entrepreneurism.
The project’s goal is to build a practice, created both in the classroom and outdoors. A multilingual website with innovative educational materials will also be created.

ICT-4-LLL 2010

The "Centre for Creative Training” association is the project’s coordinator. The beneficiary on the project is the Ministry of education, youth and science of the Republic of Bulgaria.

The ICT-4-LLL project is aimed at the creation of an action plan for the integration of ICT in education in the context of the recently adopted in Bulgaria “National strategy for lifelong learning”. The project goal is to be aimed at pedagogic, content and functionality that can be reinforced through ICT within the suitable framework for the management of the change and not on the infrastructural aspects of the implementation of technologies in education.

Six work teams of key players will be formed for the project to investigate in-depth the situation in various sectors of the lifelong learning. This will bear the responsibility to point of specific problems, to create a scenario for growth, to plan strategies and to develop an action plan for the realization of the National strategy for lifelong learning, supported by ICT that would make possible a change in all levels and forms of education. The work teams of the interested parties will be regarded as structures of two-way communication with the existing practices in the lifelong learning, as well as the points of contact with experts and interested individuals from other EU countries that will be invited to present their practices and experience from the process of the implementation of their NSLLLs.

The culmination of the project will be the International conference and Educational fair in Sofia that will bring together all interested parties, those who practice and study, giving them the possibility to discuss and contribute to the shaping of the Action plan for the ICT-supported realization of the National strategy for lifelong learning. In addition, the project will contribute to the diffusion of information on LLL in society using a detailed multi-channel diffusion strategy. And last but not least, the project realization will create work structures for direct contact between the executive power and other interested parties in the field of education, which will be the base of the connected realization and the expanding actualization of NSLLL.
