The electronic Bulgarian Encyclopedia “A – Z” is a modern variant of the prestigious printed edition, created by the Research and Information Centre "Bulgarian Encyclopedia" under BAS. The digital edition of the encyclopedia has turned into a universal reference book for pupils, students, specialists and admirers of the unlimited knowledge.

The release of the first multimedia encyclopedia, dedicated to the Bulgarian history marks the realization into practice of the idea of Sirma and Trud to create a series of universal and specialized digital encyclopedias in Bulgarian. The encyclopedia “History of Bulgaria” is based upon the historical works of teams of authors, which have established themselves in the development of reference editions, lead by some of the renowned researchers of Bulgarian and world history.

This Bulgarian digital edition, dedicated to football, is the first of its kind and is based upon the “World Football Encyclopedia” released in 2001 by the Trud Publishing House. It includes information on the most famous football players, coaches, teams, terms, cups, championships and events.
