3-4 grade Mathematics

Mathematics for lower grades is increasingly being regarded as simply skills for quick and correct calculation. As such, the subject doesn’t offer adventure and exploration thinking. „Funny numbers - 2” provides a set of concomitant skills for the creation of a level of abstraction. The product contains element of logics, informatics, geometry and arithmetic. It introduces all necessary basic symbols and notions of the official curriculum for this age of the Bulgarian MoE.

The training in Mathematics for 1-2 grade is basic. It’s a complex of spatial skills, comparison and analysis, sequence of events, properties of figures, logical thinking.

„Funny numbers - 1” is an effective instrument for thinking, a child’s approach to the sequence of events, an easy to understand abstraction through the interactive method. It contains key moments from both the preliminary training and the standard curriculum. 3-4 grade Man and society – History

"Bulgaria – history and ethnography" works on the children’s perception of directions and space is a historical aspect. It helps in the exercising of the model of the correctly structured scientific statement. The child is given the possibility to achieve multiple curriculum goals unnoticeably. The materials on the disk don’t depend on the main textbook or the teacher style. They are based entirely upon the main achievement criteria for this age, set by the MES and work on activities to support and develop the children.

"Know Your Motherland" works on the children’s perception of directions and space is a geographical aspect. It helps in the exercising of the model of the correctly structured scientific statement, with the usage of terminology, in moderate framework but in a logical and linguistically correct way. It gives the teacher the possibility to set and work on multiple goals simultaneously to achieve greater efficiency in the educational process without having to drastically change his/her model of teaching.

2-3 grade Bulgarian language

The multimedia training environment Play and Learn 2 is the second product from the Bulgarian language training series (and the third from the children’s multimedia package). In itself its content isn’t a textbook, but the product contains all the curriculum elements with an important stress on the educational goals for this age.

By its interactivity the product is a rich true educational environment with music, animation and exercises for work on a computer, where the children aren’t simply observers, but researchers and explorers – real participants in the process of mastering new skills and knowledge.

The content is developed with the aim to support, extend and perfect the skills on: reading and writing; the units in word formation (syllable, sound model of the words); work with text – skills for reading, sequence of narration, intonation pauses; literacy and esthetics in text editing; spelling peculiarities – voiced/voiceless consonants; enlargement of the vocabulary – similar and related words, work on the speech behavior and the culture of written communication (letters, postcards).

0-1 grade Mathematics and Bulgarian language

Play and Learn 1 is a true interactive primer and a valuable textbook, offering vast possibilities for individual work of one child from 4 to 7 years of age. The product contains над 70 school hours completely meeting the requirements of the official curriculum of the Bulgarian MoE on basic skill in Bulgarian language and Mathematics for this age group.

The primer contains about 600-700 language units. It covers the volume of the standard primers, it develops counting in both ways (1, 2, 3....- 3, 2, 1); addition and subtraction to ten (the problem of the number-quantity relation); develops the phoneme hearing (the game “Mouse and Cards”); introduces the spelling of short words and many other skills.

Start Smart is an interactive multimedia environment for entertainment, learning and self-education in English language for children aged 5-10. Start Smart is based on a proprietary (Sirma Media & Iglika Angelova) educational methodology that has been tested in classroom and proved to be furthermore suitable for self-education in English language for Elementary level.

Start Smart contains educational material for approximately 500 lexical items, organized thematically as follows: letters and sounds; home and class-room objects; colors; figures; food; clothing; parts of the body and face; basic grammar for verb tense (present simple and present continuous); the verb CAN; the clock; days of the week; the seasons; lots of animals and many others.

The recorded music is composed especially for the needs of the product. All the vocabulary, playing tips, songs and narrative are performed by native speaker.

Start Smart is rather interactive than merely illustrative in its approach towards the language learning process. The product provides young learners with the opportunity to take active participation in the course of learning by playing, set their own learning tempo and choose appropriate level of difficulty.

The navigation is visual and intuitive with voiceover because of the learners' age and different computer skills of the children. The application's screen hides the desktop thus protecting the software and personal files of the parents.

The product contains detailed instructions for classroom activities as well as practical guidelines for both teachers and parents.
