This course for teachers was specially developed by the Centre for Creative Training and young scientists from the

Bulgarian Academy of Sciences.

It has been created as a important link between the high schools teachers and their colleagues from BAS. It demonstrates the will to bring closer together the methods and levels of training. The program is intensive, informational, interactive environment. It includes modern teaching methods, updated problematic (often missing from standard textbooks), direct contacts with active scientists and many relaxing activities. The training is of real help in the formation and understanding within the teachers’ team, which has one common goal – effective education and the good image of the teacher’s profession. The lecture type of lesson is avoided. The course emphasizes on the creation of inter-disciplinary connections.

The information covers a vast spectrum, with elements from many science fields, applicable both in regular class lessons and in extracurricular activities.

The program aims to create real cooperation and the creation of professional contacts between the teachers and young scientists that will later evolve in work on joint initiatives and projects in specialized areas.
